Poetry Competition 2018

Announcement of the winners of the Walter Swan Poetry Prize – 11th October 2018

 

We are very proud to be sponsoring the ILF Walter Swan Poetry Prize for the third time. This year the judge and ILF poet-in-residence is Imtiaz Dharker, who won the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry in 2014. She has written several books of poetry and appears regularly on Radio 4. The Wharfedale Poets (of which Walter was a member) have also been assisting with the judging of submissions. The winners will be announced at this event on Thursday 11th October at 7.30pm at St Margaret's Hall, Ilkley.
